What you will need:

·          Two sheets of colored paper

·          Scissors

·          Wire and wire cutters

Activity Instructions

·          Watch this video at OrigamiSpirit.com and follow along to make the hummingbird

·          Follow these picture instructions at Craftionary.net to make the flower

To make the hummingbird hover over the flower:

·          Stick the wire in the hole at the bottom of the flower and poke it out the top

·          Bend a half inch of wire at the tip

·          Use the wire to poke a hole in between the folds making up the hummingbird’s head and stick the wire through it to the bend

·          Fit the wire between the paper folds of the head and beak

·          Bend the wire at the end of the beak to the desired angle (see picture above)

·          Cut the wire to make a stem
