Nature & Art Come Together! Workshop Series with Artist & Illustrator- Devon Meyer

 

Come down to the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center for an exciting workshop series with Artist & Illustrator, Devon Meyer! Channel your creativity through nature journaling and learn how to draw and paint the natural world.

All classes meet on a Saturday from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Workshop series includes 5 classes:

October 4-Discovering Nature through Drawing and Painting

November 1 & December -The Benefits of Nature Journaling

January 24-Capturing the Color of Nature

February 7-The Basics of Drawing and Painting Flora and Fauna

Gifts from Nature is a sale of unique nature-inspired arts and crafts by Arizona artists, including jewelry, wearable art, ceramics, home decor, garden enhancements, and unexpected discoveries! Audubon benefits from sales, so you can help the environment while you do your holiday shopping! Featuring 30 local artists, children's activities, live music, and food.

The Friday evening Artists Reception is the exclusive, first-access opportunity to shop our annual arts festival.  Reception tickets include food, adult beverages, and live entertainment while you mingle with the artists and get the first look!  Tickets will go on sale in October.

Birds 'n Beer
Every third Thursday of the month, doors open at 5:30pm, program begins at 6:30pm

Conservation Workdays
Every third Saturday of the month, September-April (excluding December), 8am-noon

Looking for a way to make a difference? Join our conservation work days at the Rio Salado Habitat and get your hands dirty to benefit wildlife! Help prepare a pollinator garden, clean up the river bed, create bird habitat, remove invasive plants. No experience necessary! Great for individuals and groups. Saturday Morning Bird Walks
