San Pedro River Festival

Join Audubon Arizona, the Nature Conservancy, and the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition at the 2014 San Pedro River Festival!  This day-long family event is for nature lovers, birders, and anyone who wants to spend a beautiful day outdoors enjoying the scenic treasures of the Copper Corridor near the San Pedro and Gila rivers.  The event will be held at Winkelman Flats, just south of the junction of State Route 77 and State Route 177.  Activities include self-guided wildlife viewing tours, live entertainment, a kids adventure zone, and a local artisan marketplace.  Learn more here

Birds 'n Beer
Every third Thursday of the month, doors open at 5:30pm, program begins at 6:30pm

Join us after work every third Thursday of the month for Birds 'n Beer.  Sip on a Four Peaks brew while enjoying an entertaining and enlightening presentation on wildlife.  Meet other professionals who care about Arizona's beautiful natural spaces.  New topic every month. Conservation Workdays
Every third Saturday of the month, September-April (excluding December), 8am-noon

Looking for a way to make a difference? Join our conservation work days at the Rio Salado Habitat and get your hands dirty to benefit wildlife! Help prepare a pollinator garden, clean up the river bed, create bird habitat, remove invasive plants. No experience necessary! Great for individuals and groups. Saturday Morning Bird Walks

8am to 9am weekly, weather permitting

Join Joe Willy, a resident bird enthusiast, for a relaxed birding foray into the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area.  All ages are welcome and loaner binoculars are available.
