June 21 & 22 in Phoenix
- June 21 from 9 am to 5 pm AST: Classrooms session at the Arizona Game and Fish Department headquarters in Phoenix
- June 22 from about 6 am to noon: Field training day. Attendees will choose one of two sites for their field experience: Agua Fria National Monument or the Hassayampa River Preserve. Space is limited at both sites and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Plan to indicate your preference when you register.
Audubon Arizona is hosting this training in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, AZ Game and Fish Department, BLM, Northern Arizona University and the Southern Sierra Research Station.
In most cases, yellow-billed cuckoo surveyors are required to attend this training every 2-3 years. Experienced surveyors new to AZ should attend.

- Agency Personnel: $75
- Volunteers/Students: $10 materials fee
