YOU’RE INVITED!
Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with us at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area on April 12! There will be bird walks, crafts, face-painting, storytelling and live animals on site. The event lasts from 8 to noon and is free of charge. Come join the fun! For more information, please see the Rio Salado website, or contact Cathy Wise.
Kids! Enter our note card contest and win a cool prize! Draw a migratory bird or scene related to this year’s International Migratory Bird Day theme: “From Tundra to Tropics” on a 3 x 5 card using whatever art supplies you wish. We will award prizes in three age categories (1-2 Grade, 3-4 Grade and 5-6 Grade) Enter on site (you can even draw your card on site!) or mail entries to Cathy Wise. See flyer for details.
